Uhosuke (ウホ助) is a member of the Honetaro Trio and a former subordinate of Kouya, along with Honetaro and Nagao.[1]
Appearance[]
He is a large ape-man with brown fur.[1]
Personality[]
Uhosuke does not appear to be very smart, and rarely ever says anything other than "Uho!" (in the anime, he says nothing else). He is loyal to his friends and does not hesitate to aid them if they are in trouble.[1]
Plot[]
The Last Day of Kouya's Gang[]
After Honetaro is caught by Yoshimori's Nenshi, Uhosuke charges in to rescue Honetaro, but is easily captured by a kekkai. Honetaro tearfully begs that Uhosuke be spared, so Yoshimori decides to release them with a warning. However, this is part of their plan, and Nagao then tries to attack Yoshimori, only to be captured by Tokine. Kouya soon appears and frees the trio. Uhosuke is later wounded by Kouya, and Yoshimori, along with Honetaro and Nagao, helps carry him to safety.[1] After Uhosuke recovers, he and his friends return to find Kouya defeated. Kouya dismisses them from his service, and Honetaro reluctantly leads them away.[2]
Power & Abilities[]
Uhosuke does not appear to have any powers. He depends entirely on his own strength in combat, which, despite his size, does not seem to be a very significant threat.[1]
Trivia[]
- He is a parody of the monkey companion of Momotarō.
