Kekkaishi Wiki

In case anyone was wondering about the skill levels: they're not official or anything, just came up with it off the top of my head. I can give you an idea of what I based it on, though. Feel free to disagree, but please provide some reasoning so that no one comes to blows.

  • Expert: Mastery, plain and simple.
  • Advanced: Either highly skilled or possessing a special or personalized ability or form uncommon to shikigami.
  • Above Average: Well practiced, few if any visible errors.
  • Average: A nice way of saying more practice is needed. Errors either common or at least visible.

More Examples

  • I figure almost anyone who can create a working kekkaishi clone is an expert. Shigemori was included because his shikigami always share his facial features, and that's the only case I ever recall that happening in.
  • Masamori creates a clone capable of using zekkai in his fight with Ichirou. Pretty advanced, if you ask me. The only reason I don't consider him an expert is because he lacks the training of a Legitimate Successor, or at least some parts of it (still not sure about Kurohime, but anyway).
  • It's repeatedly implied and shown that Tokine has a greater interest in, and a better grasp of Tokimori's teachings than Yoshimori does. Oddly, you don't see her apply that to shikigami all that often, but at least I never recall her making an obviously flawed one the way Yoshimori often does. Which is even odder, since his clone of Tokine was pretty much perfect. I'll even go as far as to say Yoshimori's clones move up to Above Average as the series progresses. - Dap00 17:37, December 15, 2010 (UTC)
