I'm stumped by that trivia, I don't see how it can be right. Yes, Ryo was wearing a high school uniform, but I don't see anything on it that implies she went to Karasumori Academy. Even if you take into account that they may have changed the uniform a little since she was in school, hers has no symbols on it at all, but Tokine and the other girls do. And it seems kind of odd to even think she might have gone there, since the whole idea of sending Gen to the Night Troop was to get him away from his family and their neighbors. If Masamori felt that Gen couldn't even handle reading Ryo's letters, why on earth would he send Gen to the same school that Ryo went to, in the same neighborhood where someone was sure to recognize Gen? - I just think it's safer to assume that Ryo didn't go to Karasumori Academy, unless there's an actual established reference for it (in which case I'll gladly shut up). I assume someone thought that anyone wearing a high school uniform in the series automatically went to the same school. - If you mean the scene where Gen's life flashes before his eyes (well, technically behind his head in various photos), those all looked like flashbacks of things that happened since Gen came to Karasumori, so Ryo wasn't in them. I don't think she appears in that episode at all. She was in the episode after that, Requiem, but there she's dressed in black for the funeral, and I assume she was done with school then, anyway. Here's what I meant about her uniform not looking much like Karasumori's: in close-ups you can see that Karasumori uniforms have a kind of crest near the neck (you can see it on Tokine's profile pic, almost looks like a tiny white crown). Ryo's has no crest in that spot (you can see that in the thumbnail I added to Gen's history section), just a white space.
